Yoddha (The Warrior) is a Marathi poem written by my friend Ravi. When I heard the poem first, it formed vivid images in my mind. I realised that this poem had an awesome visual potential.
You can read the poem below in all its graphic glory. It’s been translated into English in the comic below.
In the month of Dec 2009, I wrote and illustrated a 11 page guide to making comics. This guide is now published on ComixIndia.com site at the following URL:

ComixIndia.com, a comics enthusiasts site had invited entries for a comics anthology (collection of stories from various authors/artists). I sent my story ‘The Replacement‘ for inclusion in the anthology.
Now the comics anthology (including The Replacement) is complete and ready to be published on Pothi.com, a print-on-demand site. This means the physical book will be printed and delivered to the person who ordered it once an order is placed. No physical copy will exist until ordered.
This anthology will be published some time in the month of Feb 2010.

Yesterday evening, I finally completed my short comic about making comics. I have named it ‘A mini Tour De Comics’.
I completed the whole 11 pages in 7 days, an achievement for my speed.
I have sent it to ComixIndia.com for publishing in their forthcoming booklet on the same topic. The booklet will contain entries from some more people on this subject, nearly 10 pages from each author.
Once they publish it on their website, I will keep one copy here for free download. Who knows, the current B&W comic may acquire some colors by then 
Since a post about making comics is incomplete without some pictures, and I am not supposed to publish it here before the publisher does it, here are very small thumbnails of the comic. They are large enough to entice an interest, and small enough to be unreadable
