A couple of days ago, I had a discussion with one of my friends. The conversation was about the modern “clerical factory” that our education system has become. We force our children to rote and write in examinations. When these same children, who are equipped only for spoon-feeding get into the real world, we expect them to be equipped for problem solving! This has created generation after generation of consumed souls.
It’s not wrong to expect that a creative field like arts would be exempt from this clerical madness. But the government’s apathy, coupled with old jaded ideas has sniffed out even that hope.
