Since my right hand was out of commission owing to a thumb injury since last few weeks, and the urge to do paintings was too much, I resorted to training my left hand for painting. It proved to be a boon in disguise!
I visited Cambridge in the beginning of 2006. Winter had just started receding, and the air was still crisp and cool. I captured this pic at the bank of a beautiful river, where many tourist gondolas were plying.
This pic is drawn in pen and ink on paper (Pigma Micron pens). The special thing about this pic for me is that I have drawn it entirely (NOT “almost”entirely!) with my left hand. It needed a lot of time, and immense patience. But finally it was all more than worth it :-).
