Sometimes, unpleasant situations present an unexpected opportunity. Last week, I was stuck in a traffic jam when I noticed these abandoned vehicles lying on the roadside, about 20 meters from me.
Thanks to the traffic jam, I could take some photos using my cellphone cam. Completed this sketch today. Done using pen, inks and watercolors.
I had clicked a pic of this old door in Manavali house of Nana Fadanavis in our Sunday sketching trip. Go to complete this sketch yesterday while I was waiting for someone to arrive.
Another pen sketch done to exploit the full texture potential of the pen medium!
Orangutan monkey sketch, done using Pigma Micron pens. Had a lot of fun drawing the peculiar texture of the face and the ample fur!
I had clicked this pic of a super busy road in old Pune a few months ago. Did a pen-inks-watercolors sketch from that photo yesterday.

A small road side temple in Shanivar Peth area in old Pune. This temple is only 1.5-2 feet tall, and hardly noticeable within the banyan tree that engulfs it.
Sketch of one more dilapidated house marked for demolition, Khadki area, Pune.
Yeaterday had a blast with a trip to Nisarg Farms, Mulshi district near Pune. Mulshi is a high rainfall area, and yesterday was no exception. Did this sketch yesterday to make most of the day 🙂
