Drew these sketches back to back within a span of 1 hour, using my trusted Staedtler pigment liner 0.2 pen in my little sketchbook.
This house is from my imagination. I just started drawing as it came to my mind.
This small indoor bamboo plant was sitting right in front of me in the window, and it proved to be an excellent model (although a lot complex one!).
Today, while returning from work, I stopped near this tree.
The tree has a fascinating shape. Every branch of the tree looks like it decided to follow opposite direction to the original midway in its growth!
I pass from near this tree every day, but had never noticed the numerous leaves sprouting from its branches. Nature has its own way of springing back.
The barren house a few meters behind this tree was a man-made creation, and it has no such luck.
Yesterday I had parked right across the street from the centuries old Omkareshwar temple in Pune. I was sitting in the car waiting for a friend of mine. He kept me waiting for around 30 mins. I had a sketchbook and my drawing pen with me. I could finish this much of the drawing with the limited time and rapidly fading light.
I did a couple of sketches while waiting near a garden today evening. I had nothing to do for half an hour, had a small sketch book and a black ball point pen. This is the result.
After this sketch, I looked for some very uninteresting topic around, and found this open electric box.
27th March 2012 is the 81st birthday of the legendary Spock from Star Trek The Original Series.
Happy Birthday Leonard Nimoy! You taught me to dream BIG and imagine BIG! Live long and prosper.
This pic was taken with the mobile cam in my car rear view mirror.
After photoplasty in GIMP, this was the final result!
This concept came to my mind some days ago ‘out of flash’! How would it be like to juxtapose 2 lovers against a dingy surroundings? Even better, just show their presence by their shadows. Leave a lot to the viewer’s imagination.
Drawn in GIMP on Wacom Intuos 4. Drawing time 1 hour.
A long wait for the dear one is over, or is it??
This was a gift from me to my beloved soulmate on the Valentine’s day
Done in GIMP, using Wacom tablet.
